Our little girl is two today! After dinner we are going to eat a red velvet cake that I made from scratch. As you can see in the photo above the frosting is a little runny... dang it. I don't know if I will ever master making that from scratch. Lola's Daddy made the cake look much better by decorating it with lady bugs. So far Lola seems pleased with her second birthday cake.

i was waiting to see the ladybug cake you told me aaron was planning on doing - pls. tell him i am QUITE impressed and will be sharing this with my husband, future dad to be (i now EXCPECT cake decorating skills from him in the near future - it'll probably me more like little jeeps on the cake, regardless of son or daughter!). aaron - i'm sure justin thanks you for this now.
