Next stop Naperville
One of Lola's favorite things to do while she visits Gramma & Grumpa is to head down to the train station and watch the trains go by. Turns out yesterday was a big day for her as she got to actually get on a train for the first time! This was SO EXCITING! The conductor gave her a special first time rider ticket which will go directly into the baby book with the above photo. She rode all the way from Downers Grove to Naperville (about 10 minutes tops) where her Daddy & Grumpa picked her up at the train station.
BTW - I did not see Evan Lysacek while visiting Naperville. dang it!

Babysitting Elliot
Lola and I spend a couple hours over at Owen and Elliot's house last week so that Jamie and Sheana could go out for their anniversary. This was Sheana's first time being away from the new baby and Lola and I are honored to be the first official babysitters. Sheana was a little concerned that Elliot may miss her and I'm sure in his own baby way he did but he didn't show it. He didn't show much of anything since he slept the entire time making this the easiest babysitting job ever!
He even found a way to sleep through these shenanigans:
Happy Anniversary Capt & Mrs. Johnson!

Lola's cottage
Take a moment to view this photo and pass it on to everyone you know. This will go down in history as the cutest photo ever taken of these three kids! EVER!
Lola's Daddy worked hard putting together her new cottage where she entertained her friends Rowan & Lydia this evening. The children ate hot dogs and pretended like they were drinking soda and tea.
Lola would like to thank her grandparents for pitching in on this awesome birthday present! As you can see it is perfectly adorable!!!
